opportunity for a Manager, Finance Systems at our office located in
Dallas, TX. (Flexible work arrangements available)American Heart
Association is looking for a 'Manager, Finance Systems' to join the
Business Technology (BT) team to support and lead the finance
applications track that is undergoing transformation. The team is
looking for a leader with IT and Finance applications background to
be responsible for ongoing support and implementations. The manager
focuses on collaborating with IT, business, and vendor teams.
Responsible for support, implementation, and deliver applications
related to Finance, EPM, SCM, Analytics, Reports. Establish and
support IT and ERP standards and best practices. Perform other
duties as assigned.Responsibilities
- Manage ERP and related applications such as Oracle Fusion
Cloud, JD Edwards, EPM, reporting applications Halo, Oracle FAW and
procurement, etc.
- Lead and manage a team of technical and business analysts.
- Develop and maintain cost effective yet efficient applications
road map with short and long-term goals.
- Ensure continuous collaboration with business teams, understand
business issues, research and deploy technical solutions.
- Support period closes, ensure 24/7 applications support.
- Monitor and improve applications, system integrity,
architecture, and processes.
- Own release and deployment managements.
- Lead and engage in RFPs, vendor selection, discovery, and
implementations.
- Team building, coaching, employee retention, training and
development.
- Firsthand technical expertise, roll sleeves as needed, and lead
the team in problem solving.
- Maintain system configurations, latest technical currency,
enforce SDLC best practices.
- Collaborate with higher management and keep
transparency.Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- 3 years minimum of supervisory experience.
- 3 years minimum (7+ years preferred) of IT applications
development and support experience.
- 3 years minimum (5+ years preferred) experience in implementing
and supporting one or more ERP applications of Financials, SCM,
EPM, Fixed Assets, Analytics.
- 3 years minimum (5+ years preferred) of technical support
experience with 2 or more ERP system areas such as SQL,
improvements, reports, integrations & API calls, application
architecture, data conversion, security, releases and testing.
- Strong leadership and mentor abilities, delivery and
process-oriented mindset.
- Keen on service delivery, team engagement, collaborating with
business users, find and fulfill gaps for smoother support
model.
- Experience in working with Oracle support, external vendors,
and system integrators (Sis).
- SDLC and change management focused, ensure system integrity and
IT audit requirements.
- Ability to research and recommend innovative technology trends,
and act as a change leader.Preferred experience:
- Experience with Financials and EPM ERP systems such as Oracle
Fusion Cloud, Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards.
- Techno-functional knowledge and support with ERP system.
- Implementations knowledge.
- Project management skills and managerial experience would be
ideal.Expected pay range will be $120,000 - $127,000. Pay is
commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay
range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right
