No C2C or sub-contracting. This is a 12-month contract position that will follow a hybrid schedule.Top Skills' Details5+ years experience in technical network support. Experience with programming and/or scripting is a plus.5 plus years of Avaya experience, must have hands on senior level experience--- Working knowledge of Cisco IOS , Cisco Communications Call manager and Unity Connection Voicemail, Contact Center Express and some Zoom and or Team Phones experience would be helpfulDescription:Our client is one of our largest energy companies, they are upgrading their communications and networking systems. They are open to anyone with very good experience from an admin to engineering level. Engineers with design vs admin only. Please make a note that they will be required to be onsite 3 days a week. the best candidate will be a senior level admin. Scripting is a huge plus. A senior level admin with Avaya experience first and foremost. CORE RESPONSIBILITIESEssential Functions--- Will primary be the 2nd level support for all Avaya and Cisco phone or Contact Center express issue--- Will work on daily move add and changes that are requested.--- Helps implement, integrate with, maintain and secure cloud infrastructure using SDN.--- Participates in performance monitoring and tuning of network systems.--- Participates in engineering, design, and project management of network systems projects. Develops and maintains diagrams documenting company networks.--- Participates in technology evaluation and selection processes, ensuring compatibility between client requirements and technical performance. Documents analysis and recommendations.--- Effectively communicates with clients, peers and supervision by blending appropriate levels of technical and business detail to ensure issues are thoroughly understood by his/her audience. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, peers, vendors and management.--- Works in cooperation with IT Security to ensure that we are in compliance with Enterprise Security standards and that the company's Network security is not compromised.--- Supports NERC-CIP compliance and ensures that electronic and physical security policies are followed.--- Jointly participates with Security and Administration to develop satisfactory backup and restore practices as well as disaster recovery planning and testing. Participates in establishing processes and procedures that streamline and reduce costs.--- Participates in managing and improving costs of budgeted Capital and Operational and Maintenance activities.--- All other duties and projects as assigned.--- Performs other duties as assigned--- Complies with all policies and standardsQUALIFICATIONSRequired EducationBachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or information technologyRequired Experience5+ years experience in technical network support, or an equivalent combination of education and experience on a year-for-year basisIncumbent must effectively deal with the rapid technological and business change while maintaining enthusiasm and displaying sound judgment and common sense.Preferred Qualifications--- Participation in continuing education courses and/or technical seminars is helpful.--- A successful academic or work background indicating a demonstrated ability to absorb information, apply conceptual skills in practical applications, and achieve desired results in a highly technical, operating environment.--- Experience with programming and/or scripting is a plus.--- Automation scripting skills using tools like Ansible, Python, and Powershell a plus.--- Working knowledge of Avaya first and then Cisco Communications Call manager and Unity Connection Voicemail, Contact Center Express and some Zoom and or Team Phones experience would be helpful but not requiredSkills:Unified communications, Voip, Cisco call manager, Ucce, Cisco voice, engineering, design system, Cloud, cisco ios, scripting, networking protocols, avaya, avaya call center, Administration, Moves addsTop Skills Details:Unified communications,Voip,Cisco call manager,Ucce,Cisco voice,engineering,design system,Cloud,cisco ios,scripting,networking protocols,avaya,avaya call centerExperience Level:Intermediate Level
