SCOPE - PROJECT MANAGER



The Project Manager will assist with divisional projects, new opportunities, leads and on time product development. The Project Manager must plan, track, oversee and document all aspects of the specific projects while working closely with internal departments, customers, sales reps and upper management teams to make sure the scope and direction of each project is on schedule. The Project Manager must have effective communication and working relationships with all departments, customers and project team members.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - PROJECT MANAGER


Manages assigned projects per customer alignment (i.e. GFS, Retail, Schools, etc.)
Creates and maintains new opportunities in Sales Force.
Leads projects by assigning various tasks to involved departments such as R&D, QC, Packaging, Purchasing & Marketing.
Work closely with sales reps to keep all opportunities constantly moving forward by developing timelines and establishing deliverables.
Oversee newly awarded business, product launches, menu changes and special LTO's (Limited Time Offers) by establishing timelines, production projections, marketing need, and inventory tracking and forecasting.
Maintain pricing reports for margins.
Work independently and within sales team on special and ongoing projects
Organize customer visits and presentations when needed by coordinating ideation sessions, creating agendas, schedule internal cuttings of new products and assigning marketing needs.
Manages the completion of customer RFI's (requests for information).
Create and distribute product notifications.
Assist with coordination of vendor packets, pricing and new item forms.
Manage vendor web portals.
Attend weekly Project Management Team Meetings and provide weekly project reports.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS - PROJECT MANAGER


5+ years of experience in sales or customer service-related roles, preferably within food manufacturing industry
BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
5 years' experience in sales operations, sales analytics, contracting, pricing, or sales administration.
Advanced knowledge of MS office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Direct experience supporting customers.
Ability to problem solve and think analytically.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Must be able to diplomatically enforce deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport building, listening, and questioning skills.
This position is an onsite position.
