qualified Neuro RN in Louisville, Kentucky, 40202 Pay Information
$2,000 per week About The Position A Neuro ICU RN (Registered
Nurse) plays a critical role in providing specialized care to
patients with neurological conditions in an Intensive Care Unit
(ICU) setting. Here---s a general overview of the job description:
Responsibilities: Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough neurological
assessments and monitor vital signs. Evaluate changes in
patients--- conditions and respond accordingly. Care Coordination:
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including neurologists,
neurosurgeons, and other healthcare professionals. Develop and
implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs.
Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as
prescribed. Monitor patients for side effects and therapeutic
responses. Monitoring: Use advanced monitoring equipment to track
neurological status and overall health. Recognize and act on signs
of deterioration in patients' conditions. Patient Education:
Provide education to patients and families about neurological
disorders, treatment plans, and recovery processes. Documentation:
Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records. Document
assessments, interventions, and patient responses in real-time.
Crisis Management: Respond to emergencies, including seizures or
changes in consciousness. Implement life-saving interventions as
necessary. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor of Science in
Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
