As a substance abuse and mental health therapist, you will play a critical role in providing essential therapeutic support to individuals facing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. You will also use your expertise in counseling and therapy to assess clients' needs and develop effective treatment plans. Your ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards will be crucial in building trust with clients. Additionally, your experience with trauma-informed care, working with diverse populations, and using electronic health records and teletherapy will be valuable assets in this role.Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.The employee is frequently required to walk, balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch.
