Job Description:
A company is looking for a Pharmacy Coordinator II to support
the pharmacy department in developing and maintaining the health
plan's pharmacy program.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to provider, member, and pharmacy inquiries regarding prior
authorization and formulary processes
Review pharmacy overrides and ensure compliance with guidelines
while tracking and analyzing utilization patterns
Assist with provider education, training of employees, and process
improvements within the pharmacy team
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of pharmacy experience, including 1+ years in managed
care
Experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid
Preferred: Licensed in WA and PTCB
