  • Job Details
  • 29 bed telemetry unit, is the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) primarily serving as an observation unit.
  • Primary patient population is cardiac, medicine, and pre/post cardiac procedures. Patients are predominantly placed from ED, Cath Lab, and direct admission that meet CDU criteria.
  • 1 year exp with PCU/Tele
  • EPIC exp REQUIRED
    • Job Requirements
    • 1 year experience with PCU/Tele
    • BLS - Basic Life Support
    • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
    • State License 1 Verification
    • NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
    • NIH Stroke Certification
      • Unit Specific Information
      • Nurse to patient ratios 1:5
      • Interpretation of dysrhythmias
      • Management of dysrhythmias
      • O2 protocol management
      • Non-invasive airway management
      • Management of drips
      • Peripheral line care/management
      • Central line care/management
      • Blood product administration
      • Isolation precaution/PPE
      • Computerized documentation
