We'll teach you.
You will provide our customers with expert assistance to a wide
variety of questions and problems. Unlike most CSR roles, you will
build ongoing business relationships with our customers through
repeated contact and consultation. As this is a service and parts
center, our ability to win and retain customers' business often
depends on your ability to quickly and efficiently provide them
with just the right parts and/or solutions - especially when
customers are experiencing costly equipment breakdowns. You will
also, on occasion, have the ability to utilize your mechanical
aptitude to help solve customer problems or troublesome
processes.

Just some of the things you'll be doing on a daily basis:
* Assist customers by phone and in person at our facility
* Use your customer service skills and talents to clarify their
needs, do research, and (after you get up to speed) recommend
parts
* Be focused and driven to meet / exceed monthly sales goals while
increasing customer satisfaction
* Process quotes, take orders and provide post-order service
REQUIREMENTS
Our Customer Service Representatives are self-motivated and driven
by a desire to exceed expectations. They have strong prioritization
and multitasking skill, a sense of urgency, and take pride in their
verbal and written communication. Interpersonal skills and the
ability to establish rapport and build solid relationships with a
wide variety of customers are critical.
Specific qualifications for the role include:
* 6 months of customer service experience preferred
* Desire to increase knowledge in industrial distribution
products
* Excellent telephone skills
* Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly
* Enjoys working with computers, including basic knowledge of
Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook & Excel) and comfortable
with Google search engine
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR)
* SAP / ERP experience, preferred but not required
* Some knowledge of industrial distribution products and
hydraulics, preferred but not required
