Job Description:
A company is looking for a Care Worker to provide support in
scheduling and coordinating healthcare appointments for
members.
Key Responsibilities
Assist members in finding and scheduling appointments with
healthcare providers
Provide non-clinical support for utilization management and case
management workflows
Research community resources and assist in transitions of care for
hospitalized patients
Required Qualifications and Education
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree
preferred
1+ years of experience in a managed care environment
Understanding of plan benefit structures and psychiatric/medical
terminology
Experience with chronic pain management guidelines (if
applicable)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
