Job Description:
A company is looking for an Institutional Review Board (IRB)
Specialist to manage IRB applications and ensure compliance with
regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of IRB applications and conduct detailed reviews
for compliance with federal and state regulations
Serve as a voting member of the convened IRB and conduct expedited
reviews of minimal risk research
Facilitate IRB meetings, including agenda management and
documentation of meeting outcomes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in natural and social sciences, nursing,
management, or a health-related profession, or an Associate's
degree with 6 years of experience in human subjects research
At least 2 years of experience in human subjects research
Ability to manage a high volume of submissions and meet
deadlines
Experience in interpreting and applying federal regulations and
institutional policies
Proficiency in using multimedia hardware and software applications,
including databases and word processing tools
