Job Title: Radiology/Cardiology Technician Job Specialty: X-Ray Technician Job Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Experience in OR, ER, and Ports. Level 1 experience of all ages preferred. Experience with complex cases, such as femur and tibia nails, pelvis, and advanced spine imaging, required. License: Pending Kentucky license is acceptable but must be obtained before start Certifications: BLS, ARRT, KBMIRT Must-Have: OR experience required. Call is required with a one-hour response time. Weekends required. History in OR, ER, and Ports. Level 1 trauma experience is required for most units. Job Description: - Complex case experience involving femur and tibia nails, pelvis, and advanced spine imaging - Ability to respond to on-call situations within one hour - Provide coverage for weekday and weekend calls, with specified call hours - Weekend calls are divided into specific shifts, ensuring coverage from Saturday morning to Monday morning - Flexibility to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby - Completion of modules during orientation and annually, varying by specialty - Compliance with mandatory vaccine requirements, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons - Ensure awareness of policies regarding rehire eligibility and background checks.
