Job Title: Radiology/Cardiology X-Ray Technician Job Specialty: X-Ray Tech Job Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day, 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty, with OR, ER, and Ports experience required. Level 1 trauma experience preferred. License: Pending state license is acceptable but must be obtained before the start date. Certifications: BLS, ARRT, and state-specific certification required. Must-Have: Experience with complex cases such as Femur and Tibia Nails, Pelvis, and advanced Spine imaging. Job Description: - OR experience is required. - Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. - Call is required with a one-hour response time. - Weekends are required. - Experience with complex cases is necessary. - Must meet compliance for vaccine requirements, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons only. - Call hours: Weekday call from 8 PM to 6 AM. Weekends divided into two shifts: 6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM. Weekend begins Saturday at 6 AM and ends Monday morning at 6 AM. - Floating requires recovery of IR PACU patients in the main PACU if necessary. - Call frequency: Anticipates 2-3 shifts per schedule period (6 weeks). - Modules completed during orientation and annually, varying by specialty.
