SCHEDULE: Full Time, Hybrid TRAVEL REQUIRED: 0% - 25% COMPENSATION:
$80,485.00 to $154,755.00 base salary plus potential for variable
compensation. Base pay is determined by your skills,
qualifications, experience, and location. Farm Credit
Mid-America/Rural 1st may compensate outside of the salary range
for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected
class. About Our OpportunityThe Financial Operations Quality
Manager reports to the Head of Accounting Operations and is
primarily responsible for developing, implementing and ensuring
quality control measures are completed within Financial Operations.
This role will be reviewing controls and ensuring high standards
and continuous improvement; in addition to gathering the proper
data and presenting the analysis of the data. It is also
responsible for the financial compliancy, quality and credit
reporting across the entirety of Finance / Accounting operation.
How You Will Spend Your Time
- Implement controls and quality control measures for customer
notifications and credit bureau reporting.
- Ensure controls are completed according to guidelines and
maintain high quality.
- Review data for trends and identify opportunities for
improvement.
- Develop and manage vendor relationships; conduct industry
research and vet potential vendors.
- Regularly assess existing vendors for customer notifications
and credit bureau reporting.
- Collect and analyze data to create controls and identify
trends.
- Communicate trends and opportunities effectively to relevant
parties.
- Collaborate with teams across Financial Operations, Compliance,
and other business segments to ensure high quality for customer
notifications and credit bureau reporting.
- Utilize industry knowledge to make improvements and ensure
accuracy.
- Facilitate testing plans for customer notifications, credit
bureau reporting, and other high impact areas due to system
changes; accounting for upstream and downstream implications.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and facilitation
skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs
and technical delivery
- Develop and support initiatives to improve quality. Minimum
Education & ExperienceAssociate's Degree required in accounting,
finance, business administration, economics or a related field,
plus a minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible work
experience demonstrating transferable skills relevant to the role.
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business administration,
economics or a related field preferred. A minimum of four (4) years
of relevant experience developing, implementing and ensuring
quality functions to assure conformance to internal procedural
requirements, advance quality policies and initiatives, as well as
promote and support continuous improvement efforts. Mental &
Physical RequirementsWhile engaged in this position, team members
will routinely sit, use hands for tasks, and communicate orally.
Standing or walking is frequently required, while occasional
demands include reaching with hands and arms, and lifting or moving
up to ten pounds. Vision requirements encompass close and distance
vision. The work environment typically has a moderate noise level.
This role may entail a blend of mental and physical capabilities,
requiring strong mental acuity, problem-solving skills, and
occasional physical tasks such as standing, lifting, or extended
computer usage. Some roles may require physical or mental
requirements related to driving, such as a valid driver's license,
